It can be very lucrative and exciting running your own network marketing or MLM business. However, it may not feel like that if you are struggling to generate leads for your business.

It can be discouraging when you are struggling to generate leads and are barely able to make enough money to continue on to the next month. You might even feel like quitting.

This doesn’t have to be you. You just need to know where to look for qualified leads and then you need to know the right way to market to those leads.

Sound easy? It is, but it takes work. The difference is the work you will be doing will in fact produce real results instead of just feeling like you are spinning your wheels.

We are going to answer some questions

Who Are Qualified MLM Business Leads?

So first, you must know who your target market is. It’s not your friends and family. It’s not your neighbor and it’s not the guy you ran into at Starbucks.

I know there are some people who have built their businesses doing things like making lists of friends and family, having hotel meetings, using the “ten foot” rule, etc. and I mean no disrespect to them.

However, this is absolutely not the way you want to be building your business because it simply isn’t efficient and absolutely isn’t effective.

Your target market is only two groups of people.

1. The first group is other network marketers. They are already sold on MLM and network marketing. They "get it" and don't need to persuaded. This is a tough one for many marketers because it seems counter-intuitive. Why market to someone who is already in an MLM business?

I am going to tell you why. It's because you are going to be a leader and provide value to other network marketers. When they are looking to switch network marketing companies because they are unhappy, who do you think they are going to want to join?

Also, by marketing the right way to other network marketers, you can monetize your efforts by selling them quality products of your own or perhaps even some affiliate products from time to time.

These products will help them grow their business and put money into your pocket as well, even if they never join your primary opportunity!

2. The second group of people who you want to target for your MLM busines are those that are actively looking for a business opportunity. These people are looking for a solution to their problems, which is what you can offer them.

Let's take a moment to think about this in another situation.

If you had a big, beautiful house to sell, would you try to get your friends and family to buy it? No, you would turn to an experienced Real Estate Agent, who would in turn begin marketing your house on places like MLS where people are searching every day for a new house.

Remember, your home may be big and beautiful, but if your family and friends aren't in the market for a new house, it's likely they probably won't buy it!

This same philosophy applies to your network marketing or MLM business.

Where Can You Find MLM Business Leads?

Like I said before, going through your family tree isn't where you are going to find qualified leads for your MLM business. You also won’t find them by approaching all of your friends the next time you go out.

You are going to find MLM business leads by learning effective attraction marketing strategies, but more importantly, implementing them into your business.

If you are not a student of attraction marketing, I would strongly recommend that you become one. Learn what it is that your prospects are searching for and then provide them with whatever that is.

Figure out what your prospects’ problems are and then provide them with the solution. When you can do this, you will naturally attract qualified MLM business leads, customers and distributors into your network marketing business.

Try this little exercise: Think about exactly who you are targeting when you are marketing your MLM business. What are they looking for? Why are they looking for it? More importantly, what will it provide for them?

Answer those questions. Once you can provide those answers and those solutions to your target market, you will generate endless qualified leads into your MLM business.

Remember, people arent' searching online for a network marketing or MLM business. They are looking for a solution to a problem. What is that problem?
